Only a few weeks away from their highly anticipated Winter Bash Concert at The Carver Theatre, Negus, Neno Calvin, Tokey Hef, and El Kidd team up for a MONSTROUS new record for the streets of New Orleans, properly named Beignets x Bass. Peep the flame after the jump....

So many great things to say about this record, Negus' super lyrical, and metaphorical verse to open the song, "you take away from this shit, I'm an addition to the game" Neno Calvin's spazzmatic, 99 on 2K Flow, Tokey's crazy Uptown, Vintage New Orleans vibe on the track was so important for the middle of the track. El Kidd rounded out the track, and bought a dope energy to it. Always end a banger with good energy, and bars.

Strength Of The Record: The combination of these 4 styles, and all of their different skill sets made this song appealing to a bunch of different audiences, I can hear this record played in the whip, in a smoke session, in the headphones etc. The line up of verses were perfect as well, Negus starting the track with a metaphorical verse, Neno Calvin built on Negus' momentum and snatched the beat with his larger than life flow. Tokey Hef put a New Orleans stamp on it, smack dead in the middle of the song, and El Kidd rounded it out with an unmatched energy.

Potential Of The Record: I know personally i'm going to be spinning this joint for a minute. Definitely will be passing it along to my DJ homies to get some possible club spins. This will be a major record when its time for these artist to perform at Carver Theatre on December 19th at Winter Bash.
